Excellent. Went for a walk around brown moss and decided to try one of the famous pork pies - it was much bigger than i expected, roughly the size of my palm! Had a cute little set up for seating, which was suitable for most weathers, plenty of bins around and a sweet little shack to order from. Great atmosphere! Hot chocolate was to die for! Lovely treat and was reasonably priced! They also take card!

Lovely little cafe, great for kids after a muddy trek, friendly staff, and the pork pie was incredible!

First time here , bought pork pie, sausage roll, scone and flapjack as takeaway . Lovely place to stop and eat but we were in a rush so chose takeout. Everything was delicious but the porkpie was off the scale . My son who isn’t normally a fan of porkpie loved it.

Wow! Brilliant home made pies, sausage rolls and pasties in a lovely little setting. Everything we had was very high quality. The steak pasty was crammed with tender meat and very tasty gravy. Cakes also very good. To top it off they serve Lost Barn filter coffee. If you're passing Whitchurch would highly recommend. Very picky about where I eat and this is now one of my faves.

Very rural, roads are all single lane when getting close to the cafe, so please be aware, Lovely scenery and worth the trip for a walk round. pork pie was very nice. Coffee is filtered and doesn't match the quality of the pastries on offer.

We love the chef in the woods for its location and food. They now have a teepee with a log burner inside for those cooler or wetter days. We had a cheeseburger and a fish butty which were great. We also had a fresh strawberry tart and a cheese and leek pastry. We love all of their food as most of it is homemade and tastes amazing. We then walk it off around brown moss with the dog. Proper nature day.
